Finding the perfect climbing shoe

Finding the right shoe can be as hard as finding the boulder you planned to climb. Make it easier by considering these options when choosing your next pair.

- soft rubber, for sensitivity

- a tight fit that is well tolerated by the foot

- durable construction

-Neutral, Moderate or aggressive downturn toe

-laces, Velcro, or slippers

-stiffness

-leather vs vegan

-price

The options are all designed to match a climbers style. For bouldering I prefer stiff, aggressively downtruned slippers of Velcro, soft soled and vegan. What do you look for in your bouldering shoes?
