3 Tactics for Projecting
Some may call bouldering the purest form of climbing.
It’s a dynamic and highly engaging way to challenge yourself. Here are 3 tactics to help you progress on the boulders:
1) Warm-up first with some easy climbs before getting onto hard boulder problems e.g., do some laps of the boulders, low traverses or single standing moves.
2) Use your arms and legs to propel yourself up the boulder. Keep your core tight. Take off from one hold, shift to another, recover with a power move–you’ll be surprised how much power you can generate by using your legs and arms together!
3) Concentrate on quality form: good technique will allow you to climb harder and further with less effort than poor technique.
